Sam Perlozzo was the first to go
The Baltimore Orioles have fired Same Perlozzo.
While I was wrong that Sam would last until September, I am one-for-one so far in my managerial firings prediction. I suppose it’s wrong to gloat over somebody losing his job, but I have always enjoyed being correct. I’m a little nervous that Mike Hargrove will make it to the end of the year, as the Mariners and Rangers have switched the records I thought each would have, but the M’s are in the midst of a losing streak, so I still like my predictions overall.
